Developing Human Capacity for Africa's Transformation
In not too long ago, Ghana was declared a middle income country and the fastest growing economy in the world today. This has come as a result of stable political climate, the rule of Law and the stability of the economy. In addition to these, the recent discovery and extraction of oil in commercial quantities, review of government policies to create conducive atmosphere for business and the deregulation of education has repositioned Ghana as an investment destination in Africa.
Industry is seeing systematic growth with the increased Foreign Direct Investment into Ghana. The explosion of industry would also require the requisite man power locally. This has given rise to the need to develop and empower a new generation of African Leadership to rise up to the occasion and be ready to harness every opportunity in the wake of this economic boom.
High Skies College (HSC) was initiated in response to this realization and to support the human resource development of Ghana and that of Africa in general through the provision of various human capacity development programmes relevant to the African economy.
