Course Content

Business Law

Introduces legal systems and business implications, covering contracts, agency, intellectual property, ethics, and Ghanaian law. Emphasizes identifying legal risks, liabilities, and applying legal principles in business decision-making.

Accounting for Non Accounting Managers

Equips students with accounting fundamentals, including financial statements, bookkeeping, and reporting. Focuses on interpreting financial data for decision-making by managers and stakeholders without accounting backgrounds.

Management Information System

Explores how information systems support decision-making and organizational performance. Covers IT concepts, data management, and the strategic use of technology to enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and innovation.

Financial Management

Covers financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. Includes budgeting, investment appraisal, risk-return analysis, working capital management, and valuation concepts to support effective organizational financial management.

Entrepreneurship

Focuses on venture creation, opportunity recognition, and business planning. Develops skills in innovation, resource mobilization, and managing small businesses, preparing students to launch and sustain enterprises.

Organisational Behaviour

Research Methods

Develops skills in designing, conducting, and analyzing research. Covers research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis, and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making and academic inquiry.

Project Work

In this program requires student to conduct any business research of their choice related to their industry and present the finding. This course assists the student in defining the research question, design the method, plan and undertake the research project. The student would identify industry related problem, collect data, review available literature, analyse data and submit findings in a formal business research report.

This is a prerequisite for graduation. Student could start their research after their sixth course.

Welcome to the most prestigious MBA program in the Port City of Tema. To qualify for High Skies MBA program, the applicant should provide the following:

1. A good first Degree qualification from any accredited University or Any qualification from a recognised professional body or accredited institute whose qualification is deemed equivalent to a first degree

Applicant must have a minimum of two years’ professional work experience

3. Students who wish to pursue MBA whose qualifications are in other fields other than business may be required to do a Post-Graduate Diploma before admitted into MBA Program
